Join writer, educator, and performance artist Sagirah Shahid for a workshop examining the works of contemporary women poets of Afghanistan, learning to work in Dari and Pashto poetic forms, and reflecting on the meaning of solidarity, witness, and resistance within our current context.

This cozy, exclusive women’s Eid party will feature afrobeats and R&B music, a pop-up market featuring women owned businesses, and interactive games and activities! Celebrate with your sisters and make some new friends this Eid.

Join Afghan Cultural Society for our yearly Eid Qurban celebration, family style dinner and dessert potluck (bring a dessert to share if you can!) In addition to dinner there will be a children's carnival, face painting, and henna.
